Wisconsin State Crime Stoppers (WSCS) is proud to announce its 19th Annual Meeting and Training Conference. This exciting conference will be conducted at the Ho Chunk Resort and Casino Conference Center in Baraboo, WI, near the Wisconsin Dells. The WSCS Board of Directors is planning many diverse and dynamic topics on Crime Stoppers and law enforcement that will educate attendees and provide information which can be used to immediately improve your local Crime Stopper program. Of course, we will have many opportunities to network with your fellow Crime Stoppers programs throughout the state of Wisconsin through the Regional Breakout Session and other training sessions.

Featured Keynote Speaker: Steven Walrath
We are extremely fortunate to have a high powered and nationally recognized speaker at our upcoming conference. He is spoken to many well-known corporations throughout the world as a motivational speaker.
Steve Walrath is a broadcast and business professional who took a small, single radio station and transformed it into six multinational companies doing business in the US, Canada and Australia. With his international success, Steve began teaching Executive Leadership and Customer Focus skills on three continents to such companies as General Motors, Trek Bicycles Worldwide, Roman Meal Bread Company, Kansas Medical Society, FBI, US Naval Academy, New Scotland Yard, Royal Canadian Mounted Police and hundreds more.
Steve is the immediate Past President of Crime
Stoppers International.
He initiated a global partnership with the United Nations Office of
Drug and Crime in
Steve will be speaking to us on many Crime Stoppers topics focusing on board operations, such as: how to retain and recruit good board members; strategic planning; how to recruit and involve younger board members; how to motivate board members; how to deal with disruptive board members; the future of Crime Stoppers; Crime Stoppers and the UN; fundraising; and a repeat performance from last year’s conference, web tips/tip texting.

WSCS Board of Directors asks that each member organization bring an appropriate item to donate for our Silent Auction. The sale of these items will benefit WSCS and its member organizations by providing support for future training conferences and ongoing financial support for board activities.
